MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced by his international reach. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song in 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. He then was a part of Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His elder brother and mom are also musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory part of his life. When a young boy, he studied the saxophone and guitar. His initial goal was becoming a vet, the brother Julian advised him to go for lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed the course of his life.
