Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other genres such as the hip hop soul genre and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and won an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. She worked with numerous musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami, Rosalia's album that was awarded the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to have the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
